It features the largest forest machinery manufacturers, heavy equipment, attachments, and accessories, along with many other new and exciting innovations related to forest ownership, management, and timber trade. The event’s stage program covers topics such as forest policy, timber trade, and machinery.

Proforest is an excellent place for forestry and machinery professionals to network, develop their operations, establish new partnerships, and make business deals. However, the event is not only for professionals but also for the general public. Finland is a land of forests, and timber is a key export product, so an insight into this field enhances a comprehensive understanding of our country’s green gold. Proforest offers a great overview of the current state of Finland’s forestry and machinery industries, and the panel discussions on stage provide valuable additional information on the latest industry topics.
It’s also important to remember that about half of Finland’s forest land is privately owned, making it a matter of personal wealth for many Finns. Managing this wealth requires not only expertise but also a fleet of machinery that serves the needs of the industry and is suitable for a variety of conditions.

Proforest is a great opportunity to see Finland’s largest forestry and machinery companies in one place. Over 170 exhibitors participated in the 2023 event, including Komatsu Forest Oy, Ponsse Oyj, and Scania Suomi Oy. Exhibitors showcase their services and organize live demonstrations where heavy machinery and tools can be seen in action.

A high-quality stage program will also be produced for the event, addressing current topics in the forest industry. The program is produced by Maaseudun Tulevaisuus, Suomalainen Maaseutu, Koneviesti, MTK, and Expomark. It will feature expert presentations, panel discussions, and interviews. Speakers will be announced on the event website during spring. In addition, interesting live demonstrations will be held at the exhibition stands, and visitors will have the opportunity to test the features of the equipment in practice.
